Choosing Forgiveness

You have a choice. You can choose to forgive others for the harm they have caused to you. You can choose to forgive yourself for the harm you have caused to yourself or others. Choosing not to forgive leaves you vulnerable to the self-depleting dynamics of blame, judgement, resentment and bitterness. Emotional and physical health can suffer when you allow past hurts and anger to go unresolved.

To accept the challenge to forgive is not always easy. It is a choice that demands heightened self-awareness, purposeful self-control and determined self-study. The immediate outcome of focused forgiveness is healing in your relationships. The ultimate outcome is self-forgiveness, a crucial step in self-development!

This web site gives you information that encourages you to begin living a forgiving life, i.e. a life filled with genuine respect and compassion for yourself and others.
